At JIYU Tech, we pride ourselves on craftsmanship, reliability, and premium customer service. Every PC we build is carefully assembled, tested, and shipped with the goal of giving you a smooth, worry-free experience.
This page outlines our warranty coverage, return policy, shipping damage disclaimer, and RMA procedures in clear detail so you know exactly how we protect your system and how we can assist if anything goes wrong.
1-Year Limited Hardware Warranty Coverage
JIYU Tech provides a One (1) Year Limited Hardware Warranty beginning on the original purchase date shown on your official invoice or order confirmation (“Proof of Purchase”). This warranty is valid only for products purchased and operated within Canada.
Within the first 12 months from the purchase date, any malfunction confirmed to be a hardware failure caused by normal use and/or defects in materials or workmanship may be covered under this warranty, subject to the terms and exclusions below.
The major components included in this coverage are:
- CPU
- CPU cooler (air or liquid cooling)
- Graphics card (GPU)
- Memory (RAM)
- Motherboard
- Power supply unit (PSU)
- Primary & secondary storage drives (SSD / HDD)
Remedy Terms (Within 1 Year)
If an issue arises within the warranty period and is confirmed to be hardware-related, JIYU Tech will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the affected component, or
- Replace the affected part with a component of equal or higher performance tier, depending on availability.
- We do not guarantee an identical brand/model replacement. If the identical model or brand is unavailable, we may provide a same-class or upgraded alternative.
Eligibility & Conditions
To qualify for warranty service:
- The PC must have been used under normal operating conditions within manufacturer-specified limits.
- Customer must retain Proof of Purchase for warranty service.
- The computer’s serial number must be untampered with and clearly identifiable.
- No evidence of intentional damage, misuse, abuse, neglect, or unauthorized modification.
- Customer must be able to describe the issue and, if requested, provide photos or videos for diagnosis.
Additional Warranty Conditions
- This warranty applies only to products purchased and operated in Canada.
- The computer must not be unnecessarily stressed. This includes modifications to component clock speeds, voltages, or fan speeds outside of manufacturer specified limits.
- No warranty extension will be granted for any replacement part(s) furnished in fulfillment of this warranty.
- All pre-installed software programs are licensed under the applicable third-party software vendor terms.
- This warranty does not cover third-party software issues, virus, or malware-related problems.
- Customer is responsible for keeping all original packaging materials in good condition for any future return or service shipment.
What Is Not Covered
This Limited Warranty does not cover issues caused by:
- Accidental or intentional physical damage.
- Liquid damage, excessive dust, corrosion, or environmental exposure.
- Unauthorized modifications, including BIOS flashing, firmware changes, voltage modification, aggressive overclocking, or physical alterations.
- Electrical problems caused by unstable power, power surges, or non-standard power sources.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect system functionality.
- Software issues, operating system corruption, viruses, malware, or driver conflicts.
- Loss of personal data, software licenses, or settings.
- Improper shipping or repackaging damage.
- Service or alteration by anyone other than an authorized JIYU Tech representative.
- Fire, flood, lightning, or other external disasters.
Diagnostic & Repair Procedure
When you contact us about a potential hardware problem, we will:
- Start with remote troubleshooting via email, chat, or call.
- Help you perform basic checks such as cable reseating, BIOS settings verification, and driver checks.
- If a component failure is confirmed, arrange for repair or replacement of the affected part.
- In some cases, we may request that the faulty part or system be returned for inspection and testing before replacement is issued.
We consider a case resolved only after the system is tested and confirmed to be operating normally again.
Optional 3-Year Extended Warranty (JIYU Care)
For customers who want longer protection, we offer an optional 3-year extended warranty on eligible systems. Coverage may extend beyond the standard 1-year period for qualifying hardware failures, subject to the specific terms provided at time of purchase.

Return Policy
We understand that sometimes plans change. Our goal is to be fair and transparent while also protecting the significant time and labour invested into each custom build.
Order Cancellation Before Shipping
- If you cancel your order before the system has entered assembly, a full refund may be issued.
- If the system is already in progress, including parts ordered or build started, a restocking or labour fee may apply.
Returns After Delivery
- PCs from JIYU Tech may be returnable within a limited period from the date of delivery, subject to inspection and approval.
- The PC must be returned in like-new condition, with all original accessories, cables, and packaging materials.
- Visible signs of heavy wear, physical damage, or missing accessories may reduce or void the refund amount.
- Shipping costs are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to a confirmed JIYU Tech error.

Shipping Policy
Every system is packed with great care to survive shipping. We use strong cartons and protective internal materials such as self-expanding foam to help secure heavy internal components during transit.
Upon Delivery
- Inspect the outside of the box for visible damage before signing or accepting the shipment.
- If the box appears heavily damaged, take photos immediately and report it to the courier and to JIYU Tech as soon as possible.
- Keep all packaging materials until the system has been fully tested and confirmed to be working properly.
Shipping Damage & Packaging Responsibility
- JIYU Tech is responsible for packing your system securely before shipping.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by improper repackaging if the system is later shipped back without adequate protection.
- When returning a PC or component, you must use the original packaging or equivalent protective materials to reduce transit risk.
Shipping Charges
- Shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
- This may include outbound shipment to JIYU Tech and return shipment back to the customer during certain warranty or service cases.
- Any courier-related delay outside of our direct control may affect final delivery timing.
How to Request Warranty Service (RMA Instructions)
If you believe your system or a component is failing and may require warranty service, please follow these steps:
Step 1 – Contact Support
- Reach out to us via our support page, email, or other listed contact method with your order number and a description of the issue.
- Include photos or videos if possible, such as error messages, LED indicators, or visible physical issues.
Step 2 – Remote Diagnosis
- Our team will guide you through basic troubleshooting to isolate whether the problem is software or hardware.
- If a hardware fault is suspected, we will identify which component is most likely affected.
Step 3 – RMA Approval & Shipping
- Once approved, we will provide instructions on whether to send back the entire PC or only the suspected component.
- Pack the item securely, ideally using the original materials, including internal foam support for the GPU and other heavy components.
- Shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer, including outbound shipping to JIYU Tech and return shipping back to the customer, unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
- Follow the shipping label and instructions provided by JIYU Tech or the manufacturer where applicable.
Step 4 – Repair / Replacement & Return
- Upon receipt, we will test the hardware and confirm the issue.
- If the fault is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the component and return the system or part to you.
- If the issue is not covered, such as physical damage, liquid damage, or unauthorized modification, we will inform you of any available paid repair options.
- No Defect Found: If no defect in materials or workmanship is found during inspection, you will be responsible for return shipping and any applicable diagnostic or labor charges at current service rates.
Please make sure to back up your important data before sending in any system or storage device. While we take care with your hardware, JIYU Tech is not responsible for personal data loss during diagnostics or repair.
